6 – ADOLFO S. SUZARA FOUNDATION, INC. SCHOLARSHIP

Qualifications:
• must be a Filipino citizen
• must be a bona fide student of the University of the Philippines.
• if an entering first year student, must have passed the UPCAT. if already enrolled, must have obtained a general weighted average of “2.0” or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “3.0” or unremoved “4.0” or “INC” in the semester immediately preceding the application
• must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant
• must be financially needy (parents’ gross income must not exceed ₱200,000)
• must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action

♥ school fees as assessed but not to exceed ₱20,000 per semester
♥ ₱3,000 living allowance per month
♥ ₱4,000 book allowance per semester


7 – UPAA HONGKONG SCHOLARSHIP GRANT

Qualifications:
• must be a graduating student enrolled in any degree program in the University except the UP Open University
• must not be a holder of any other scholarship or financial grant
• must be a full-time student enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant
• must be financially deserving
• must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action
• must be given priority to a dependent of an Overseas Filipino Worker based in HongKong at the time of application

Benefits:
♥ school fees as assessed but not to exceed ₱10,000 per semester
♥ ₱2,000 living allowance per month for 3 months per semester
♥ ₱4,000 book allowance per semester


8 – UPAA SINGAPORE SCHOLARSHIP

Qualifications:
• must be a bona fide student of the University of the Philippines enrolled in any four-year course
• if an entering first year student, must have qualified for admission. if already enrolled, must have obtained a general weighted average of “2.5” or better and must have carried a load of at least 15 units with no grade of “5.0” or unremoved “4.0” or “INC” in the semester immediately preceding the application
• must be enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant
• must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed ₱200,000)
• must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action

Qualifications:
• must be a bona fide student of the University of the Philippines
• must be enrolled in any four- or five-year degree program and must carry a normal load of at least 15 units per semester
• if an entering first year student, must have qualified for admission. if already enrolled, must have obtained a general weighted average of “2.5” or better in the semester immediately preceding the application
• must be financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed ₱200,000)
• must not have been the subject of any disciplinary action worse than a five day class suspension

• enrolled in at least 15 units at the time of the award of the grant
• financially needy (parents’ annual gross income must not exceed ₱300,000.00)
• must not have been subjected to any disciplinary action

2 – SCHOLARSHIP FOR BARANGAY OFFICIAL DEPENDENTS (BOD)

Qualifications:
• must be a legitimate dependent child of an incumbent barangay official
• not more than 21 years of age at the time of application as certified by NSO Birth Certificate
• passed the entrance examination (UPCAT) or a bonafide UP Cebu student

3 – ISKOLAR NG BAYAN SCHOLARSHIP

Qualifications:
• must be a Filipino citizen
• must be enrolling for the first time in college and has no credited previous college subject
• has graduated from any public high school in the country within two years prior to AY 2016-2017
• must provide a certification from her/his public high school, duly signed by the school principal, that s/he belongs to the Top 10 of the graduating class
• must enroll in CU located in the region where their high school is located

4 – 2016 Junior Level Science Scholarships for Third Year College Students

Qualifications:
• natural-born Filipino citizen
• poor, talented and deserving student who belongs to a family whose socio-economic status does not exceed the set values of certain indicators
• incoming regular 3rd year college student in an identified priority S&T course for SY 2016-2017
• have a general weighted average (GWA) of at least 83% or its equivalent in his/her first and second years in college
• resident of the municipality for the last 4 years as attested by the barangay
• of good moral character and in good health

LAW APTITUDE EXAMINATION (LAE) for Academic Year 2016-2017

Passing the Law Aptitude Examination (LAE) is a requirement for admission to the U.P. College of Law. For Academic Year (AY) 2016-2017, the LAE will be administered on Sunday, 7 February 2016, in U.P. Diliman, U.P. Cebu and U.P. Davao.

Issuance and processing of test permits and LAE applications will be on Saturday, 6 February 2016, at the ILC, Administration Building, UP Cebu.

Search for The Outstanding Cebu City Youth Leaders (TOCCYL 2016)

The Cebu City Government, through the Cebu City Youth Development Commission under the Office of the Mayor, is once again spearheading this year’s “Search for The Outstanding Cebu City Youth Leaders” (TOCCYL 2016), as one of the highlights of the Cebu City Charter Day Celebration.

The project aims to give due recognition to the young Cebu City Leaders who have unselfishly dedicated their efforts in serving the Cebu City community in active involvement and participation in community-oriented services especially health, peace and order and youth development.

The said search is composed of three categories, namely;
I. Outstanding Student Leaders (both High School and College),
II. Outstanding Community Youth Leaders, and
III. Outstanding Youth Professionals.
